Rajesh Utsahi is the Hindi Editor in the ‘Communications and Publication Team’ of Azim Premji University. In this role, he serves as the editor of the Hindi translations of the University’s English magazines ‘Learning Curve’, ‘i wonder…’ and ‘At Right Angles’. He has also been an Associate Editor for various readers published under the ‘Translation Initiative’ program and has served as the Hindi Editor for the Azim Premji Foundation’s teacher portal ‘Teachers of India’ from 2009 to 2023. Rajesh has also been a member of the editorial team of ‘Khojen aur Janen’, a joint educational magazine of Vidya Bhawan Society, Udaipur and Azim Premji University from 2012 to 2015. Before joinng the Foundation, Rajesh worked in Eklavya, a leading educational institution of Madhya Pradesh. He edited Eklavya’s children’s science magazine ‘Chakmak’ for 17 years from 1982 to 2009. His responsibilities also included editing and providing management support to other magazines published by Ekalavya. Rajesh’s other experiences include editing the children’s magazine ‘Gullak’ and educational magazine ‘Palash’ published by the Madhya Pradesh Education Department. He has served as a resource person in literature creation workshops for children for Nalanda, Room-to-Read and the Madhya Pradesh Education Department. Rajesh’s other interests include writing poems, satire, short stories, and especially contributing to creating, editing and review of children’s literature. He has created five children’s poetry posters and contributed to other books published by Room-to-Read. Rajesh is also a published poet of a poetry collection titled ‘Woh, Jo Shesh Hai…’
