Anand Narayanan teaches astrophysics at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His research is on understanding how the gaseous components of galaxies and the intergalactic medium evolve. He regularly contributes to astronomy-related educational and public outreach activities.
